(A Course in Miracles Lessons 173-260)

With Eloisa Ramos, EFT Master

I hosted a program on EFT Radio Online from January, 2014-2016, with the intention to share the learning and insights received from the practice of EFT tapping and the study of A Course in Miracles.

The topic presented every two weeks reflects the guidance received from practicing the fourteen daily lessons covered in A Course in Miracles. The ACIM teachings are relevant to the practice of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) to help open the mind to receive healing.

Below are the EFT Radio shows June to September, 2014; a total of seven. If you have questions or comments contact me.

How to Trust Someone

with A Course in Miracles and EFT Tapping

July 4, 2014, 12 noon PST

Who or what can we trust? My body’s eyes see a world of instability and impermanence. I feel desperate for security. There is no certainty in the self I think I am nor in my relationships. My life stands on fearfully shaky ground. So I dig a trench to say, “Trust no one to be safe”. Or I challenge others, “Prove to me that you are trustworthy.”

Today, with Eloisa Ramos, we excavate into the shaky ego/body dream world with the guidance of Lessons 173 -186 of A Course in Miracles to learn how to trust someone by releasing our fearful thoughts and chipping away at the one problem that underlies distrust: separation.

Lesson 181 says, “Perception has a focus. It is this that gives consistency to what you see. Change but this focus, and what you behold will change accordingly. Your vision now will shift, to give support to the intent which has replaced the one you held before. Remove your focus on your brother’s sins, and you experience the peace that comes from faith in sinlessness.”

We will learn to use The Ramos Clearing Technique (RCT) and EFT tapping to shift our focus from fear, sin and separation; to love, innocence and oneness. We want to trust; we want the peace of God which brings certainty.

Lesson 185 says, “To mean you want the peace of God is to renounce all dreams. Now he seeks to go beyond them, recognizing that another dream would offer nothing more than all the others. Dreams are one to him.”

Gratitude Definition and Oneness

with A Course in Miracles Lessons 187-200

July 18, 2014, 12 noon PST

When you felt unhappy, were you told, “You should be grateful. Others have it worse.”?  Are you supposse to believe if others suffer more than you, that is cause to be thankful?

Today, with Eloisa Ramos and Lessons 187-200 of A Course in Miracles, we explore our gratitude definition and why without our recognition of oneness it will be insincere.

Lesson 195 says, “Gratitude is a lesson hard to learn for those who look upon the world amiss.  The most that they can do is see themselves as better off than others…Love makes no comparisons. And gratitude can only be sincere if it be joined to love.”

To see the world “amiss” is to make fear real and perceive the world, and others, as our enemies making love impossible. ACIM teaches that our only function is to heal our mind, and forgiveness is the means given to us whose mind sleeps and dreams of fear, separation, sacrifice and condemnation.

Lesson 195 teaches, “When your forgiveness is complete you will have total gratitude, for you will see that everything has earned the right to love by being loving, even as your Self.”

In oneness we recognize giving is receiving and we are given everything. And so in Lesson 197 we learn, “It can be but my gratitude I earn.”

Today with Lesson 195 we walk the way of love, thanking “our Father for one thing alone; that we are separate from no living thing, and therefore one with Him.”

The Real Self and Self Concept

with A Course in Miracles Lessons 201-214

August 1, 2014 12 noon PST

Can we distinguish between our real self and our self concept? There is stability and no fear in one and instability and fear in the other. It is the difference between our one true Self and the false individual self and the dreamer and the character in the dream.

When you look in the mirror you see a reflected image of your physical self. There are not two physical selves there. The mirror reflects back to our eyes what our mind has told our eyes to see: what we think we are, namely a body as self.

What remains after we move away from the mirror and the mirror image is gone is an imprinted memory in our mind that persists as "the physical body" a past memory of sensations, real to the perceiving ego mind which made it, though not what God created in truth.

We have learned to see and believe that physicality or the body is life yet not eternal and therefore, not in the likeness of its eternal Creator.

Today, with Eloisa Ramos, we explore a spiritual perspective of what life is and what we are. Lesson 201- 214 of A Course in Miracles are a review of past lessons holding the central idea of “I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me.”

We will extend the mirror analogy to explore why the real Self is not an image and can only be experienced but not seen or understood as a self concept.

Forgiveness Definition

with A Course in Miracles

and EFT Tapping

August 15, 2014, 12 noon PST

What is forgiveness?  What is our mind doing when it forgives and when it does not? A Course in Miracles teaches that “Forgiveness recognizes what you thought your brother did to you has not occurred.” It distinguishes it from pardoning because in pardoning the sin or trespass is still there and made real in our mind.

Today, with Eloisa Ramos, we explore the definition of forgiveness with the guidance of Lessons 221-230 in A Course in Miracles seeking the experience of only truth. We want to understand how forgiveness clears or releases the perception of the “wrong” someone did to us, or that we did to our self. EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) can show us this process in action.

Unforgiveness keeps us stuck in unreality and internal suffering, “It sets about its furious attempts to smash reality, without concern for anything that would appear to pose a contradiction to its point of view.” ACIM.

We  look at what sin is and why “He who would not forgive must judge, for he must justify his failure to forgive. But he who would forgive must learn to welcome truth exactly as it is.” ACIM.

What is Salvation?

Lessons 231-240 of A Course in Miracles

August 29, 2014, 12 noon PST

What does salvation mean?  What would we need to be saved from?  A Course in Miracles teaches that “Salvation is undoing in the sense that it does nothing, failing to support the world of dreams and malice. Thus it lets illusions go.” It is a promise given to us by our Creator that we would find our way back home to peace and Love.

Today, with Eloisa Ramos, and the guidance of Lessons 231-240 of A Course in Miracles, we explore the salvation definition and why irregardless of religious beliefs, when we let go of illusions, or self-concepts of what we are, the truth is revealed to all that seek it. Lesson 229 says, “I seek my own Identity, and find It in these words: ‘Love, which created me, is what I am.’”

The road to salvation is not just for a few.  Salvation is the healing of our split mind through the undoing of the ego thought system which is unreal. It is our decision to stop believing fear based ideas that support hate and guilt that seem to separate. Lesson 235 reminds us, “I need but look upon all things that seem to hurt me, and with perfect certainty assure myself, ‘God wills that I be saved from this,’ and merely watch them disappear.”

What is the World?

Lessons 241-250 of A Course in Miracles

September 12, 2014, 12 noon PST

When we watch the world what are we looking at? We perceive with our physical senses and interpret the information as a world of images that are solid and that seem to be external to us. How clearly are we perceiving? A Course in Miracles says that “The world is false perception.” We all have daily experiences where we thought we saw, heard, smelled, tasted, or touched something and found out we were mistaken.

Join, Eloisa Ramos, as we take guidance from Lessons 241-250 of A Course in Miracles and explore "What is the world?". We want to open our mind and discover what makes the world “false perception” and what purpose it serves.

When the mind believes it is limited and lacking, it will miscreate. As long as we identify with a limited body/ego, our mind will project a world that reflects separation, ACIM says, “The world was meant to be a place where God could enter not, and where His Son could be apart from Him.”

In a world made of perception interpretation leaves room for mistakes, for certainty has been displaced. Perception can become a “mechanism for illusion” and this we want to end. “For we who made it must behold it through the eyes of Christ, that what was made to die can be restored to everlasting life.” Pg. 413, ACIM.
