Dear Eloisa
I forgot to say "Thank you so much" even those words do not express my feelings after suffering for so long.
Our session to do with psoraiasis on my skin was absolutely fantastic. I listened to the tape that you sent me and realized that I hadn't remembered a lot of the session.
I had my session last Thursday and this is Saturday.
I do not have the urge to scratch, the angry redness is dissipating, the shedding of skin has lessened a great deal which means that it is not over-reproducing and I am so much happier in myself.
I did not know where to post this so other psoraiasis sufferers would see it and have hope so I wish that you would use this post for public use. I will keep you posted.

finding emotional SUD
by: Janet Wyatt

Hello Eloise
I am truly grateful for your prompt reply to my quiery about psoraiasis.
I listened to your 3 counselling sessions and tapped along adding my take on it and found a close similarity to the whole thing and felt a lot lighter when thoughts came to me about past events apart from my past husbands death.
Have tapped according to the guidance that you gave and I know that it will get better. I will be in contact if we can meet on skype. I live in New Zealand.

Thank you with love and blessings.

Accessing the Blocked Emotion to Get the SUD
by: Eloisa Ramos

Hi Janet,

Please notice if your inability to connect to the emotions of the separation from your husband are specific to this event or have you blocked out all emotional connection to the past? If it is just the one event of separation, you can start by tapping on something like, "Even though I can't get to the emotions associated with the death of ______, I want to deeply and completely accept myself."

You want to continue tapping with thoughts around why it would be unsafe or bad to connect to them, (i.e. I would feel overwhelmed, they threaten my life, I'm afraid to feel them, etc.)

Those emotions are protected from awareness for a reason, usually they make us feel unsafe or they are unacceptable emotions because of what it means for us to feel them.

The idea is to acknowledge that you may not really want to access these emotions, as you tap, because of some type of fear and recognize the benefit that not connecting to the emotions is saving you pain, in some way, and tap to release that to allow the emotions to surface freely to get a SUD.

You can also start tapping with whatever is there, a color, taste, texture, sound, smell--anything that is associated to that time in your life to begin to pull up the thread.

If you have disconnected from the past all together, then you will need to address feeling unsafe to feel and connect to your body. We can dissociate from our body to block off our emotions and "live in our heads". There are safety and survival issues to be addressed there.

My last husband died 6 months after he was diagnosed with cancer 13 years ago. I was diagnosed with psoraiasis followed by angina. The doctor told me that psoraiasis had nothing to do with stress so I accepted it as such and was treated by a specialist who reaffirmed that stress was not the cause.
Now that I have learned of eft, I can't seem to get back to the grief or whatever emotion I was feeling at the time to assess the SUD. I was dropped from the specialist treatment which I don't mind as the psoraiasis was not getting any better without the increase of medication for which I had to have 3 monthly blood tests for liver something or other.
Now I am searching for a solution that will not cost too much because I have spent a lot trying alternative ways. I loved the information that I have read here. Thank you.

Time Needed to do EFT Tapping
by: Eloisa Ramos

There is no way to know ahead of time how much tapping or time is required, because we don't know what the trauma is and how deep or spread out the roots go.

But since you have had it for 20 years, I would say it is a pretty deep pattern and you will have layers or different aspects to address. This issue has been going around and around for 20 years.

That doesn't mean it will take you years of tapping to undo it, but it will take as long as you need to connect to all the layers that are there and release them and most are probably out of your conscious awareness now (I am guessing).

So, the best you can do is set the intention to be open to see the truth around this psoriasis and ask for help to forgive what you find so that the layers can be brought up quickly without resistance from the part of your mind that hid them in the first place.

By the way, I tap every single day throughout the day, as I catch myself reacting and disturbing my peace of mind. EFT is a daily practice for me now. Thank you for the permission to post.

How Much Tapping for Psoriasis
by: Giana

Dear Eloisa,

Thank you very much for your prompt response. You are right, each trauma is very individual and I will try to find what was mine.

Could you please advice how many times at day and how many minutes will be enough to do tapping every day?

I am more than happy if you will post my question and your answer on your website as I know it might help others as well.

Many thanks again for your advice.

Skin Condition and EFT Protocals
by: Eloisa Ramos

Hi Giana,

A tapping protocol is a specific EFT tapping sequence that comes from someone having tapped on the trauma that resulted in their psoriasis and cleared the condition. I don't have such a protocol.

However, while a "protocol" can be of help because the trauma(s) will have been perceived similarly, your traumatic experience is unique to you. No-one else will have experienced it exactly the way you did. So, finding a protocol may help you, but their is no guarantee that it will clear the psoriasis unless you know the event(s) behind your psoriasis and thoroughly tap through all your layers to release them.

The way that EFT works is that once you connect to the originating event, you tap on the feelings and hurts stuck in that memory using words to target the stuck energy to release it, allowing healing of the event and energy to flow to the body that needs regenerating.

What you need to identify first is the trauma that started it. There are several ways to open your mind to bring that up from memory.

What I can tell you is that the conflict that started it would be some type of separation conflict where there was loss of physical contact or loss of contact to the mother, the flock, the family, or friends. It would be a separation that you are wanting to reduce or forget and not be sensitive to; that is what skin issues are about according to the MetaMedicine charts I have.

You will need to look at what was happening before this started and the psoriasis would have showed up when there was some type of temporary resolution to this separation conflict that helped you to feel better, but did not heal it.

Once you connect to the trauma, you need to be thorough in addressing all the emotions and judgements stuck there with the tapping.

If you have no idea what the trauma could be, you could start tapping with, "Even though I feel this loss of contact with someone I feel a deep connection with, I deeply and completely accept myself." to help you connect to the feeling of "loss of contact". That feeling when you tap on it, will help you remember the trauma.

Let me know if you have other questions.
